Cultivar 1.1

Materials: silk thread (hand dyed); single weave needlepoint canvas, acrylic paint

Techniques: I painted my design and background unto needlepoint canvas with acrylic paints and acid dyed the silk thread to match the painted colours. The stitching was a simple stab stich (up/down, in/out) rahter than any needlepoint stitch.
